Akugorou has two other brothers, Matashige the Eldest son and Kosanta the Youngest son. He cares about them to the extent of asking an Oni, the player, for help in finding his missing younger brother, Kosanta the Youngest son. He sees the three of them as always being brothers and makes sure that his family is okay.
Though he cares for his brothers, at times his older brother Matashige the Eldest son gets on his nerves. With the help of a passing Oni, the player, he plays a prank on his older brother by sticking a Fish Eye onto him so Matashige the Eldest son can experience a little pain.
