Black Market Guard is a part of the Black Market of Izumo and is interested in Broken Lanterns, for their high quality materials and rising demand. In exchange for the Broken Lanterns, he will help the player's skills mature along with a payment.

Black Market Guard doesn't appear until the player has completed the quest "Magatama Crafting", where he will permanently stay.
