Hisaji is planning to become an Oni, but his training was halted when he visited Kikaigahara Rest Area and was caught during the evacuation. He was unable to train or leave until the evacuation order was called off. He met Kiichihougen who told him that the person who could train him the best to become an Oni would be the newest Oni, you, the player. When he returns to Kikaigahara Rest Area he notices you and asks for you to teach him the ways of fighting by completing Onigashima Training Grounds on Hell difficulty with him.
