Yoshitsune begins to wonder as to how the player has got so far in life without ever enhancing his weapon. He may have been in Onigashima since the beginning, but the fact that he hasn't enhanced his weapon and has a unique weapon that seems to not need maintenance. She wonders how the player has been able to fight until now with that weak weapon. Maybe the player had undergone training without relying on his weapon. Whether it be the Oni Dagger or the Oni Longsword, the creation of weapons on Onigashima seems to be a highly fascinating process to Yoshitsune.
Even with the maintenance free weapons, learning to take care of a normal weapon is essential so that the weapon may deliver consistent results and you form an attachment to the weapon. Attempting to treat a destroyed weapon would require the use of a grinding stone, which would lead to the loss of blade material. Yoshitsune discovers her rambling off information equivalent to the last time talking about the Shogunate, but only finds the need to apologize for boring the player. She just leaves the player saying that if he needs a weapon enhanced just to let her know since she enjoys seeing the player fight.
