Tadayoshi is a hard worker from the viewpoint of his sister, Tsubata. He is so dedicated to his farming job, he would forget to eat until the job is finished. Sometimes he overworks himself, finding that just after eating he would fall asleep right where he began eating. He does care about the well-being of the village by helping fight off some of the Amagaeru that stumble into town, but he is not a fighter and often forgets about his own health.
