The Tortoise Guardian guards the entrance to the Genbu Temple in the Underground Caverns. He is one of four guardians that guards the separate jewels that together make the Four Gods Jewel. The Tortoise Guardian has nothing, but respect for the player, since the player is going out of his way to save a town he just met.
