Momotarou wonders why someone such as the player is able to be stronger than himself. Momotarou has been all over the place and defeated all sorts of enemies, but the player has stayed on Onigashima all his life and still beats him. He wonders, at first, if the reason being the player is an Oni. He dismisses the idea quickly since he has killed countless numbers of Oni in the past before he ever met the player. He notices that though the player is an Oni he has a different smell to a normal Oni. He gives up trying to explain the difference in strength, but vows to kill every last one of the Oni.
