Yataro loves the Sakura trees and takes care of them in the Kikaigahara Rest Area. When Tiamat first appeared and the evacuation order was given for the Kikaigahara Rest Area, Yataro was forced to leave her precious trees to head for the safety of Onigashima. When she returns after Tiamat's defeat she finds the trees in poor condition and asks a nearby Oni, the player, for a few Fragile Ribs to make a strong fertilizer for the trees. She isn't asked to take care of the trees, but loves to do so anyways for their beauty.
